Gloria, who has been a past president of YAA, has generously offered to donate her demo painting as a door prize.
Everyone who attends this meeting will be entered to win this painting.
York Art Association expresses its appreciation to Gloria Gustafson for giving her time, talent and expertise to the YAA.
Gustafson began painting as a teenager and in 1968 began her career in earnest by studying with many prominent artists, taking what she needed and moving on. Having spent most of her life living near the coast of Maine, Gustafson's paintings reflect the ever-changing ocean, rugged coastline and beautiful flowers which surround and inspire her. The artist strives to create a different emotion in each new work. She has won numerous awards and is recognized as one of Maine’s most popular watercolorists. Her work can be found in private, public and corporate collections worldwide. Locally, Gustafson artwork may be found at Atlantic Design Center, York and Sea Bell
