  • Please submit this if you have never been in the fair before, and then we will let you know if you can become a vendor.
  • Set up early on Friday, and then be open for business at 3-7PM. There will be a special dinner option announced.
  • One corporate sponsor to be featured on all publicity.
  • $300 - $250 of which goes toward a purchase of art. One overall sponsorship for $2500 with marketing on all print media and publications.

THE SHOW WILL BE HELD, RAIN OR SHINE. There are no refunds available if you cancel within 30 days of the event - August 17 onward.

York Art Association’s Art in the Park is going to be extra special in 2017.  We have a great line up of artists and invite visitors from far and wide to the park starting a day earlier, on Friday, September 15 at 3:00 - dusk, as an additional day for the fair, as a preview to the regularly scheduled Saturday, September 16 open day from 9AM - 4:00 PM. On Friday, from 6-7:30 PM we will also offer a special indoor drinks and appetizers reception across the street from the fair, at the Association, for $20. The artists registered for the Friday opening, are invited to attend free of charge. 

As a result of this additional day of the fair, we ask all of the participating artists to set up for the fair between 12 and  3:00 on Friday, September 15, instead of the usual after 4:00 and later set up. In addition, the artists can still set up for the fair on Saturday from 6 -9AM. If you have an interest in participating and have not already registered for the Friday fair day, please do so on line, or contact us at 207-363-4049 Thank you for your participation.

Past Exhibitors: A non-refundable $140 non-member, or $125 fee for members fee must be enclosed with your application and postmarked by April 15, 2017.  There will be an extra potential exhibit time from 3-7 on Friday, September 15 for an extra fee of $50 and a special request for spaces fee of $15 for members only.

New Exhibitors: There is a $15 non-refundable jury fee for all new artists. All new artists must submit a web site or 3 images in the mail. Please send a 25 words or less bio and résumé of relevant experiences, include website address if you have one, along with jury fee. Or, if you do not have a website, images can be photos or jpg images provided on disc. Each image must include artist name, medium, size and title (if applicable) of piece. Please provide a #10 self-addressed stamped envelope if you wish to have photos returned. Acceptance or rejection notice will be mailed out within 2 I weeks of receipt. All exhibited work must be the original work and design of the artist.

New Exhibitors should respond as soon as possible. Space will be assigned after April 15 on a first come, first serve basis.  

No Imports, dealers, commercial art or objects made from commercial kits are allowed. Artist reproductions/prints must be signed and numbered by the artist in limited editions and must be labeled as such.
