NEWSLETTER MANAGER
Newsletters are mailed to members and other designated individuals and organizations. The newsletter notifies our membership of upcoming shows, workshops and other YAA activities. The newsletter also informs members about YAA board meetings, currant topics of general interest to the membership, YAA policies, "How To" info along with standard and new Bulletin Board items.
- Collect and compile information gathered from the YAA President, the board meetings, from committee chairs, and anyone else with pertinent info for the newsletter. This information should be given in written form to insure correct facts.
- Coordinate the mailing timeframe with YAA President.
- Use Microsoft Publisher application on the computer system at the YAA Gallery, to compile the information to create each newsletter.
- Send this completed MS PUB file to the president for him/her to proof read it and approval.
- Make any changes and resend the updated file.
- Print off the correct number of copies for members and other designated individuals and organizations, along with extra copies for the YAA Gallery.
- Print the membership labels from the Microsoft Access Database (list of current members).
- Then print, assemble, fold, and staple the newsletter.
- Attach stamps and membership mailing labels.
- Mail the newsletters at the York Village PO with the exception of York Harbor labels which are mailed in York Harbor PO (reduces delay in delivery).
