Thursday, May 4, 4-6PM, Public Open House – All Ages - Great Art, Artists, Food, Drinks, Live Piano by Drew Poulopoulos!

Sentry Hill is a key cornerstone of the York and surrounding communities.  They offer much more than a great place to live, and are dedicated advocates of enriching the community. This year, they have formed a partnership with the York Art Association to help build creativity and arts for all ages, backgrounds, and interests.

York Art Association is now offering a wide variety of programs for the general public, and is bringing closer to home, the creative side of life and linking it to the community. Sentry Hill and York Art Association are working together to do some of these programs – Conversations with an Artist, is just one example.

This is a transition year for the York Art Association, as they have decided to extend their outreach to the youth, family and senior audiences. They are actively building their programming, seeking support through grants and donations, and creating new space for public use.  There is a dedicated group of volunteers who are now involved as leaders.  There are also many more programs overall, and especially for someone who does not know where to start to explore the arts and possibly their own creativity, and ways to make art accessible to all.

Sentry Hill is at the helm.  They are sponsoring the Association in its efforts to build support and membership and welcoming the community to a special open house event on Thursday May 4th from 4-6PM to hear more about the opportunities you have right at your doorstep – from educational classes to fun events, and summer camp.

Please join us and invite your friends.  Enjoy some wonderful appetizers, exhibits, music and drinks at Sentry Hill, 4 Victoria, Court, York.  There is also a regular art hall exhibit at Sentry Hill to view. No RSVP required. For more information, contact 207-363-4049.
